Rx Insight Consulting was developed by a clinical pharmacist with almost 20 year of experience in hospital medicine at a tertiary academic institution. Rebecca builds ordersets, reviews ordersets, develops protocols and workflows. She can develop rule-based protocols that can automated into an EMR or system alert process. Rebecca has an expertise in medication safety, using ISMP safe practices. Rebecca is also highly focused on technologies, integrating our activities into the EMR. Most of all, Rebecca is focused on developing processes that are highly effective, efficient, and reliable.
Effective - meaning the appropriate therapy or treatment plan for the patient.
Efficient - meaning the ordering providers and the end users (usually nurses
or patients).
Reliable - meaning the process makes sense and can be done correctly every time -
whether it's a new nurse or an experienced nurse.
